UEFA Euro 2021 will start on 12th June and the month-long tournament will finish on 12th July. It is going to be a special edition, as 12 cities from 12 different countries will host the tournament. It will be the very first time in history, so many countries will host a single competition in partnership. Formerly 16 teams used to participate in this tournament. But UEFA has decided to add 8 more teams and 24 nations will compete in the final stage of this competition.

This will be the 16th edition in the history of this tournament. The tournament started it’s a journey in 1960. Since then in it’s previous 15 editions, Germany and Spain are the most successful sides of this competition. Both the superpowers of Europe have tasted the glory thrice. The French on it on two occasions. Portugal won the latest edition of this competition and will start the next edition as the defending champions.
