Mohammad Asif’s career was not so long. For his own fault, he could not make the longer career. Because of the spot-fixing in 2011, Asif was banned for seven years. But before that, the 37 years old talented pacer played 23 test matches and took 106 wickets so far. With his average 24.36, he established himself as one of the top-rated bowlers in the Green Army bak then. But it was not enough to give him the certificate of the best bowler. Not even Mohammad Asif expects that. But the former English destructive batsman Kevin Pietersen made things clear. To him, Kevin Pietersen has regarded Asif as the best bowler!

The bowlers Kevin Pietersen faced himself in his professional career, Mohammad Asif is the best. In his Twitter account, Kevin has added a video also. Before announcing him as the best bowler, Pietersen also added that after his banishment, the batsmen in the cricket world became happy no doubt. Because they did not have to face the talented bowler. Along with Asif, Mohammad Amir and Salman Butt also suffered from the banishment. Only Mohammad Amir has returned to the national team later. But Asif and Butt’s international career has finished.

The 37 years old Pakistani cricketer played only 38 ODIs for the local team and took 46 wickets so far. He played his last ODI in 21st June 2010 against Bangladesh.
