Bangladesh
The Bangla Tigers qualified for the semis in the latest edition of the CT in England. They are a very formidable side in the ODIs. Conditions are also familiar to them. They have recently conquered the Pak soil in the bilateral test series against the home side. With an experienced spin attack and their most lethal pace attack of all time, the current Bangladeshi team can be a threat to any side.
South Africa
With playing their first-ever final in the World Cups (T20), the Proteas were very close to winning their maiden ICC WC title. However, they choked yet again in the final against India. They are pretty much a consistent side but the trophy luck hasn’t been for them so far. With a solid & destructive batting combo and a fearsome pace attack, the Proteas might prove to be deadly.
New Zealand
One of the most consistent sides in the ICC events, but we don’t think the conditions will be very favorable to the Kiwis. Being in a group that features India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh; things might not be easy for them on this occasion, especially in the spin-friendly conditions.
