Before heading to Qatar, France was preparing in Clairefontaine. But it suddenly became a dreadful one for Deschamps’ side. France Injury List for FIFA World Cup

Nkunku is the 4th French star who won’t be playing in Qatar due to injury. The injury list keeps extending for the champions. The other stars who were left out of the squad due to injuries are:

Karim Benzema:

He is the biggest among the lot. The Ballon d’Or winner suffered an injury just a day before the WC began.

Paul Pogba:

One of the biggest missing stars not only for France but also for the entire competition. The Juventus man is out following knee surgery due to which the former United star couldn’t feature on the soccer pitch since his switch back to Juventus in August.

N’Golo Kante:

This guy’s injury was perhaps the biggest blow for the title holders. The Chelsea man is out with his hamstring injury issues. Kante is definitely the man around whom the midfield is built and even with the likes of Tchouameni or Camavinga, he is still irreplaceable.

Presnel Kimpembe:

The PSG center half also suffered from a Hamstring issue and he failed to recover in time and hence was to be withdrawn from the final squad.

He may not make the final squad but the Aston Villa man is also out with an injury issue and his case is a knee ligament injury.
