DPL 2026 Format
The authority has removed the Super League stage from this season’s DPL. That means the tournament will be played on a single league stage format. Meanwhile, the round-robin format will be there, which means each side will take on all other 11 opponents once. There will be a total of 66 matches in the league stage.
However, the relegation league will be there, and it will feature 3 matches where the bottom of the table sides will meet and eventually decide which team will get demoted to the Dhaka First Division Cricket League for the next season.
With no Super League stage this year, every game of the regular league stage will be of even more importance to determine the winning side.
