Bangladesh Team Analysis for T20 World Cup 2022
As experienced wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim quit T20I cricket just after his disastrous performance in the Asia Cup, someone needed to replace him. Injured keeper Litton Das is now fit to play in Australia and Nurul Hasan is also heading to take part in the competition. Naim Sheikh was picked in the Asia Cup but failed to prove his worth and will be left out at home once again. Spinner Mahedi Sheikh will also miss out on this occasion as his childish errors during the death caused the team’s elimination from the earlier stage of the Asia Cup.
Anamul Haque also has been dropped after a series of poor performances and won’t feature in the upcoming grand stage of T20 cricket. However, the boldest decision taken by the board was to drop experienced Mahmudullah Riyad. It was a huge decision for sure and the fans across the country showed different reactions on social media. Najmul Hossain Shanto, a below mediocre cricketer has been picked for such a hot event and the fans showed anger on various social platforms. Selectors have said that the left-handed batter has been chosen as an extra opening option. Pacer Hasan Mahmud also got his chance to be a part of the squad and no doubt the selectors have certainly considered the pace-friendly conditions in Australia to take an extra pacer with the team.

Bangladesh Squad and Social Media Reactions
As we’ve already mentioned that the fans throughout the country have shown different reactions after the squad was announced. Shanto’s inclusion has made most of the fans furious due to the lefty’s previous failures in national colors. However, the fanbase was split into 2 parts following Mahmudullah’s exclusion. However, the hot topic of the day became the cricketer’s wife’s social media post which mocked the country’s system. The social media post claimed that the country’s system doesn’t repay the worthy people what they deserve. While Mushfiqur’s wife who is also the sister of Riyad’s better half commented publicly on that post by mocking the replacement players. She commented that “Now the team has enough firepower and there should be 6 hits in every delivery”. Fans took both the post as well as the comment negatively and created memes throughout social media. T20 World Cup Predictions 2022 (Probable Winners).
