Asia Cup 2023 Hybrid Model has been a familiar term in recent weeks and months. The departing PCB chairman Najam Sethi’s much-publicized hybrid model was accepted by ACC chairman Jay Shah. But once again the chairperson of the Pakistan Cricket Board got changed. And Zaka Ashraf has taken over the duty once again. But Zaka has criticized his predecessor’s proposed model and once again confusion with the advancement of the tournament has been raised. However, an ACC spokesperson revealed it doesn’t actually matter whatever who says and the competition will take place.

Asia Cup 2023 dates have been fixed. The competition will take place from August 31st to September 13th. Match start time of each game is 3 pm IST or 3:30 pm BD Time or 9:30 am GMT.

But the T20 format was introduced in 2016 and has been implemented twice including that edition. Now the ACC generally organizes a T20 format when an ICC T20 event approaches. Meanwhile, during or prior to the ICC ODI events, the Asia Cup returns to its One Day Format.
